Job Description - Reservations Executive
? Process telephone and email reservations according to room and rate availability,
ensuring that full and accurate details are obtained and input accordingly into PMS.
? Deal with travel agent bookings, vouchers and credit requests, ensuring that the
hotel?s policy is adhered to at all times.
? Process all reservations and extranet messages ensuring that all bookings are
accurate.
? To be fully conversant with rate groups and sales accounts procedures.
? To ensure that all reservations standards and procedures are met with regard to
reservations and system input.
? Update reservations, to input and record cancellations and amendments, making
sure all bookings are accurate.
? To liaise with sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure that VIP guests are
recognized as part of the VIP procedures, including room allocations, amenities and
arrival welcome.
? To determine from reservations any sales leads for future business and ensure these
are passed to the sales department.
? Ensure reservations are taken accurately & traces are in place for the front office to
follow up as required.
