*Security Guard - Role and Task*
*Role:* To protect company men, material and property, and maintain discipline and safety in the plant.
*Daily Tasks:*
*Morning Shift:*
1. Take proper handover from night guard
2. Check all locks, keys, and gates
3. Open attendance register and gate
*During Duty:*
4. Check ID cards and allow entry
5. Check all incoming and outgoing vehicles with challan
6. Enter details in material in/out register
7. Guide visitors and issue visitor pass
8. Do hourly patrolling and sign patrol book
9. Watch CCTV cameras
10. Stop unsafe activities and report
*Emergency Task:*
11. Act fast in fire, theft, accident
12. Call supervisor, manager and fire team
*End of Shift:*
13. Write DOB report
14. Give proper handover to next shift guard
*Golden Rule:* No gate pass = No material out.
