About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AC Technician to join the facilities team at . In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of our climate control systems, ensuring a comfortable and efficient environment for our staff and operations. You will work closely with the facilities management team to execute preventative maintenance schedules, diagnose complex mechanical issues, and perform high-quality repairs. Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including filter replacements, coil cleaning, and refrigerant level checks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions in air conditioning units, chillers, and ventilation systems.
Execute complex repairs, including the replacement of compressors, fan motors, capacitors, and expansion valves.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all systems comply with safety regulations and energy efficiency standards.
Manage the installation of new climate control hardware and integrate them into existing building management systems.
Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities, parts inventory, and service reports for audit purposes.
Respond promptly to emergency service requests to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operational continuity.
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized system upgrades or major overhauls.
Requirements
4 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
Expert knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical circuit troubleshooting, and HVAC control logic.
Proven ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of system failures and implement long-term solutions.
Commitment to strict safety protocols, including the safe handling of refrigerants and high-voltage electrical components.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report status updates to management.
Required Education
ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
