# Job Description – Assistant Technician / Helper **Job Title:** Assistant Technician / Helper **Job Location:** Workshop / Service Centre **Job Type:** Full-Time **Salary:** ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month + Performance Incentives **Experience:** Freshers and Experienced Candidates ## Job Summary We are looking for a hardworking and motivated **Assistant Technician / Helper** to support our workshop and vehicle service team. The selected candidate will assist technicians with vehicle servicing, tool handling, workshop maintenance, and other day-to-day service activities. Freshers and ITI trainees are welcome to apply. Candidates with previous workshop or two-wheeler service experience will be preferred. ## Experience Requirements * **0–1 Year:** Freshers and ITI trainees may apply. ## Educational Qualification * Minimum **10th Pass**. * **ITI in Automobile or Mechanical** is preferred. * Basic understanding of vehicle servicing and workshop tools will be an advantage. ## Key Responsibilities * Assist technicians in vehicle inspection, servicing, and repair activities. * Support day-to-day vehicle service operations. * Assist with handling, arranging, and maintaining tools and equipment. * Support vehicle movement within the workshop when instructed. * Help arrange and manage required parts and materials. * Keep the work area, tools, and equipment clean and organised. * Maintain workshop cleanliness and follow housekeeping procedures. * Follow workplace safety instructions and company procedures. * Support technicians to help ensure timely completion of assigned jobs. * Learn technical and practical skills through on-the-job training. * Follow workshop discipline, attendance requirements, and safety procedures. ## Skills and Requirements * Willingness to learn technical and vehicle service skills. * Ability to work as part of a team. * Basic understanding of workshop tools is preferred. * Physically able to perform workshop-related duties. * Responsible, punctual, and willing to follow instructions. ## Salary and Benefits * **Salary:** ₹8,000 – ₹10,000 per month * **Performance incentives:** As applicable based on performance and company policy. * Salary will depend on skills, experience, and interview performance. * Opportunity for practical training and technical skill development. **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Work Schedule:** As per workshop requirements
