Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures Manage a small team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment Oversee month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting Prepare and analyse profit and loss statements, providing insights and recommendations to senior management Coordinate external audits, liaising with auditors to ensure compliance and resolve any issues identified Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and achieve organizational objectives Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CA or CPA qualification
