Chief Business Manager – Health Insurance Location: Kanpur / Unnao / Fatehpur / Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh Salary: Up to ₹4.5 LPA + Monthly Incentives & Contests Job Type: Full-time Work Mode: Field Work Experience: 2–5 Years Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Chief Business Manager (CBM) to drive business growth through Agency Development and Direct Sales. The role involves agent recruitment and activation, customer acquisition, market development and achieving business targets. Candidates with experience in Health Insurance, Life Insurance or General Insurance sales are preferred. Key Responsibilities Recruit, onboard and develop Insurance Advisors / Agents. Build and expand the agency network in the assigned area. Motivate and support agents to generate regular business. Conduct agent meetings, field visits and performance reviews. Support agents with product knowledge and sales guidance. Generate health insurance business through direct customer acquisition. Identify potential customers through field visits, references, leads and local market activities. Meet customers and understand their insurance requirements. Explain suitable insurance products and support customers through the sales process. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Achieve monthly business, premium and recruitment targets. Develop new markets and identify business opportunities. Monitor leads, sales activity, premium and recruitment performance. Maintain daily activity and MIS reports. Coordinate with the branch team to achieve business objectives. Required Skills Good communication and customer-handling skills. Strong sales and business development skills. Ability to recruit and manage Insurance Advisors / Agents. Good negotiation and relationship-management skills. Local market knowledge and networking ability. Target-oriented approach. Ability to work in a field-sales environment. Good team coordination and follow-up skills. Eligibility Graduate in any discipline. 2–5 years of experience in Insurance Sales, Agency Sales or Direct Sales. Experience in Health Insurance, Life Insurance or General Insurance preferred. Experience in agent recruitment and team handling will be an advantage. Existing agent, advisor or customer network will be an added advantage. Candidates should be comfortable with field sales and local market visits.
