Key Responsibilities: • Maintenance & Inspection: Conduct routine maintenance, scheduled inspections, and preventative checks on diesel engines and associated equipment. • Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning equipment using systematic approaches and diagnostic tools, identifying the root cause of mechanical, electrical, and operational problems. • Repairs & Overhauls: Perform necessary repairs, replacing faulty parts, and conducting complete engine overhauls and rebuilding of components like turbochargers and fuel pumps. • Field Service & Installation: Perform on-site servicing, installation, and emergency repairs at client facilities, which may involve travel to diverse locations. • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed service reports, technical documentation, and service records, ensuring accuracy and clear communication of job status and findings. • Customer Support: Provide technical guidance, explanations of defects, and advice on future maintenance to customers. • Coordination: Work with other departments and coordinate with internal teams on allocated jobs to ensure completion according to schedule and scope. • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, regulations, and company protocols.
