Mechanical Fitter

A Fabricator Fitter is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and fitting metal components such as pipes, plates, channels, and angles according to technical drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Perform fabrication and fitting work on pipes, plates, channels, and angles Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Carry out metal cutting, drilling, grinding, and shaping operations Ensure proper alignment and fitting of parts before welding Coordinate with the welding team for smooth workflow Assemble and install metal structures at site Perform accurate measurements and marking Maintain tools and equipment in good condition Follow all safety procedures and use PPE properly Skills Required: Strong knowledge of fabrication and fitting work Ability to use measuring tools (tape, vernier caliper, etc.) Capability to understand technical drawings High level of accuracy and finishing skills Physical stamina and ability to work in a team
