Roles and Responsibilities
Manage purchase orders from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating prices and terms to optimize costs.
Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, storage, and disposal of excess or obsolete items.
Collaborate with interior designers to understand project requirements and develop effective procurement strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
4-9 years of experience in purchasing or procurement role within the furniture industry.
Strong understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, demand forecasting, and time management principles.
Excellent negotiation skills for vendor communication and contract negotiations.
Proficiency in material knowledge, vendor & supplier management, purchase order management software tools
