# R&D Engineer – Electric Vehicle (EV) **Location:** Indore, Madhya Pradesh **Job Type:** Full-time ‍ **Experience:** Minimum 2 Years **Salary:** As per company standards / based on experience and skills ## Job Summary We are hiring an **R&D Engineer – Electric Vehicle (EV)** to support the research, development, testing, and validation of electric vehicle systems and components. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of EV powertrains, motors, batteries, BMS, charging systems, power electronics, and EV testing. ## Key Responsibilities * Work on **BLDC/PMSM motors, motor controllers, batteries, BMS, and EV charging systems**. * Develop and validate EV powertrain systems, control circuits, and embedded applications. * Perform EV component testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. * Conduct prototype development, product validation, and field testing. * Perform EV testing using defined testing procedures and drive cycles. * Work with **Dynamometers and Chassis Dynamometers** for vehicle and component testing. * Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and user manuals. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and continuous improvement. ## Required Qualifications & Skills * B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in **Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering**, or a related field. * Minimum **2 years of relevant experience** in Electric Vehicles, Automotive, Power Electronics, Motor Drives, or Product Development. * Strong understanding of **EV architecture, battery systems, BMS, and charging technologies**. * Knowledge of **BLDC/PMSM motors, motor controllers, motor drives, and power electronics**. * Knowledge of **EV testing, troubleshooting, charging protocols, and drive cycles**. * Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontrollers. * Hands-on experience with electrical and electronic testing instruments. * Experience using **DSO/Oscilloscope, CRO, Function Generator, Power Analyzer, and Data Logger**. * Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems. ## Preferred Skills * MATLAB/Simulink * CAN Protocol * Embedded C * IoT * PCB Design * Knowledge of EV safety standards * Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills ## Salary & Benefits **Salary:** Based on skills, experience, and interview performance. **Work Location:** Indore, Madhya Pradesh **Job Type:** Full-time ### Application Question **Do you have at least 2 years of experience in Electric Vehicle systems, EV testing, motor drives, battery/BMS systems, or power electronics?**
