Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities: • Perform on-site and workshop-based maintenance and repairs for JCB machines. • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, transmission and electrical issues and provide effective solutions. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability. • Respond promptly to customer service requests and minimize machine downtime. • Complete a detailed Service Visit Report after every job, ensuring all work performed, findings, and resolutions are documented effectively. • Collect customer feedback post-service to ensure satisfaction. • Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required components. • Educate customers on machine care and basic troubleshooting techniques. • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. • Provide feedback to the Service Manager on recurring issues to improve service processes. • Stay updated on the latest JCB products, technology, and service techniques.
